Is it the lighting that brings out his colors? Yellow = ~3000k in the light spectrum

The photos were taken with a normal whitebalance. The water is a bit yellow because of the wood in the tank so that might give the idea its different. But thats really his colouring 8)

And as you can see he has been on a little diet and looks a little more flat at his belly

Beautiful, I've never seen one pass 14" although it's said they can. Likely not in captivity would be my guess. Awesome fish.

We can see the reflection, he cannot. Trust me I did some wierd experiments, it hurt! Great looking puff you have

The initial test I put my head in a bag ( do not try at home kids!) and it stuck to my face/ eyeballs lol
