Re: MFK...
How would an aquarium forum possibly get snuffed out by an energy drink company? I would see if they used the EXACT same name or marketed a energy drink for fish. Or am I to understand that anything titled with "monster" is subject to copyright to this company!?

Re: MFK...
Pretty sure the "monster" part of the name coupled with the logo is what got them in trouble. They're barely similar, but apparently it was enough.sgtmyers88 wrote:How would an aquarium forum possibly get snuffed out by an energy drink company? Meh yeah its not that close, but whatever. I never went there anyways.
PP do you think refugees/trolls from MFK will start flooding the gates here? Considering you have had a "interesting" history with them.

Very possible... those folks start threads here then disappear when they don't hear what they want to.

I remember that guy E787 or something like that from mfk. He had a really nice mbu in a 300g which was better.than a lot of other mbu keepers. For some reason he kept trying to argue with everybody about experience vs knowledge at evry corner... Very odd

Likewise, from what I have seen goes on on there. Though it feels a bit like Monster Energy's lawyers are trying to justify their cost by actually doing something occasionally as petty or pointless as it is.RTR wrote:I, for one, am not in mourning.

Re: MFK...
Lets just hope a company selling inflatable products doesn't spring up and use a pufferfish for a logo...

Re: MFK...
Why could they not just change the name and logo of their forum?
I wonder where all their members are going to go now?
