Once I get my tax money in I am gonna be getting a good DSLR camera to upgrade from my Olympus Point and Shoot. I am quite fond of the Canon EOS series.
(friend of mine has a nice 5DMKIII setup) http://www.buy.com/prod/canon-eos-5d-ma ... 31817.html
However my expected budget is $1k. The ones I am considering are the T3i, T4i, or the 60D which seem to fit that.

I am wanting to use it for nature stuff using BOTH photo and video with the need for macro, telephoto, low light, and landscape footage. The two things I will most likely be using this camera for is my aquariums and storm footage. I am taking the time beforehand to do some research. Is anyone experienced with the Canon EOS series and the lenses who would like to chime in with their experiences and advice?

Sad right? I saw others were doing the same thing. (also why I chose to post it in the lounge to avoid getting flagged as easily)

I have no advice, I'm a Nikon person
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

My wife is a photographer. Her suggestion is the new line of Sony DSLR's. Good pics and compact.
