Just had to share (next generation of puffer keeper)
This is my daughter she turns 2 on Saturday. Every morning she come up to me and says "Fish Just a Pinch" I hold her up to the tank and tell her to do just a pinch of fish food. I know I am biased but I think its pretty darn cute.
My wife snapped the pic. There is couple puffers in there some where.

Very adorable! =] I currently have 4 year-old twin sisters that love the fish and I love the fact I can teach them how to properly care for them. They already know that water changes are very important lol.

My kids are daughter 12, son 3 and son who turned 3 on Wednesday(yes I have 2 sons and there's 10 1/2 mths between them lol) if I let my sons feed my fish it would end up like world war 3 and my daughters resigned to the fact that she's got fish in her bedroom for the foreseeable future

Re: Just had to share (next generation of puffer keeper)
My boys are 13, and each used some of their birthday money to get a tank for their room! We're doing some upgrading, 5 to 10 and 3 to 5, but they are both very interested and are learning to do water changes with me. Re: Just had to share (next generation of puffer keeper)
God Bless you! Mine are 15 months apart and I thought that was hard. My 2 year old is the oldest. I am told having them close together makes it easier when they are older.Donna_G wrote: son 3 and son who turned 3 on Wednesday(yes I have 2 sons and there's 10 1/2 mths between them lol)
It is so fun having them enjoy what we enjoy. My daughter is already identifying fish her favorites are the "pupper fish" sometimes they are "puppy fish". she knows sword tail and "pimbwe" for my impimbwe frontosa. we are also working on saltwater creatures that she has on her bedroom walls.
We are planning on moving next year after the move, I am thinking of giving her my 20 gallon long and starting her with some goldfish.

Mpimbwe frontosa? I have a WC male Blue Zaire "Moba" that will not tolorate any other frontosa. So he ended up a showfish and not in a colony.
Btw, my oldest wants a fish tank in his room, so thinkin about giving him my old 30 long. I had it since my teen years. And yeah its pretty old but still looks good and in good shape.

Yep Frontosa. I love Mobas! can't seem to find any here in NY. The nicest ones seem to be out of Cali and cant find anyone to ship. Right now my large tank is dedicated to my Puffers. Hopefully when we move next year I will have more room and I would like to get a 180 filled with Mobas. All though I hear Mobas are nastier than Mipimbwes do you know if that is true?FADE2BLACK_1973 wrote:Mpimbwe frontosa? I have a WC male Blue Zaire "Moba" that will not tolorate any other frontosa.
