Thats a cool idea for a topless tank ! Ive thought about setting one up , but I dont like the idea of the light hanging there above , such an eyesore! Gonna keep this idea in mind for my next build.

I've been trimming back some plants, uprooting new shoots off of others, and throwing away still more. I haven't fertilized in a couple of MONTHS. I need a taller tank. I'm saving up for a 20 hex!
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

Took out the watersprite from The Dragon's Lair, it was growing too quickly and also had some diatom issues from the light being blocked by the bar on the hood, it casts a neato shadow right down the middle! :/
I placed some manzanita in, and the middle just has to stay open. Sorry the photo is so bad, my poor photography skills really don't do it justice.

Also added manzanita to my new birthday tank.

Thank you as well kind sir! It's a 75 gallon. I wish I could get a better pic, but between my unsteady hands, phone camera, and for some reason it always looks really dark.
My husband insisted on getting the stone/ceramic castle. But it's not really all that bad lol.

Yeah, if it were up to me, I wouldn't keep it, but Roba loves it. I thought it was over priced too. This is a compromise over the crazy looking dragon statues I took out.

Today I bought two 32 gallon rubbermaid trashcan with lid for $20 total. I want to buy a water pump to help me with water changes.

I'm still working on four 40g breeder tank setups to upgrade all 3 of my current puff's tank.
Kind regards,
Terrance
