Filter cleaning and water changes tonight, I am so glad I am not on a water meter lol, I make sure I get my money's worth. Bought some rock to decorate one of my tanks gonna wash that and put it in too
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

I didn't do this today, but yesterday I did a 50% WC Albie's tank, added 9 ghost shrimp to my snail tank and have discovered the past week that if I starved Albie he would hunt the ghost shrimp in his tank out. I did this by accident, got really busy between work and school, but when I did look at him his belly was always full so I didn't feed him. Now everytime I add a ghost shrimp to his tank that sucker gets eaten within seconds. Also I need to go hunt for some snails today, seems my supply of adult ones has run thin.

The sealant split at the back, right down at the bottom. Luckily I was woken up by the dog barking at the return pump sucking in air. Got the tank back today. Everything been in big water containers with pumps & heaters. Fish seem fine, but the corals are looking a bit sad. Hope to start getting everything back in today. Time will tell if I have lost anything. Horrible horrible experience!

Don't be too surprised if the corals don't make it. They're very sensitive. Keep a very close eye on your parameters. Take out the corals that look like they are dying (try fragging them), as they will cause an ammonia spike. Which corals?

Just softies - not many, as I was never intending to keep them, they just came with the rock. Frogspawn, zoas, people eaters, finger coral, mushrooms. Just spent the last 4 hrs trying to get the rock etc back in the tank - stressful stuff. Not going to put the puffers in till all settled I think.

For some reason, my sleeper goby decided to pull a ton of the hair algae off of the live rock and stuff it in a hole he dug underneath one particularly large piece of live rock. I can't for the life of me imagine why he did that. So now, I'm trying to get to that hole so I can pull all of that crap out of the tank...
