How difficult would it be to enable the site for use with the tapatalk app to make it easier to browse the forum on mobile devices. I believe its free to enable the site and there is a free read only app and a pay app where you can post and do PM's.

there might have to be a sub domain .. I don't know. AFAIK the back end of the board is a mess (code wise). We can't even add a new forum at this point, but I understand some people are working on cleaning up the coding.

It doesnt look like it requires a sub domain, just looks like a plugin that inherits users security policies from the plugin for the site. Logging into a forum is direct to the main site where you would normally login.

Something to look at in the future when the back end has been cleaned up if its that much of a mess.

Yeah regulars on car forums seem to love it, and a lot of the car sites seem to have enabled it.

Who said the back-end of the board is a mess? What kind of mis-information is this? :P

I might not be here very much, but my ears still burn! ;-)

We have just recently upgraded the board to phpbb 3.1 and we will be upgrading to phpbb 3.2 once it has been released. Tapatalk could be added, but the newer version of the software that we are now running is responsive. That means it scales to fit the size of the screen you are using. Before the upgrade, the forum wasn't very mobile friendly. Now it is very mobile friendly.
