Brain Size Determines Whether Fish are Hunters or Slackers

While it wasn't done on puffers I thought this might interest some of you.

It's definitely nothing overly complex or surprising but still interesting :)
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

I hate the article title, lol. It's quite interesting, but the researchers specifically say that overall brain size is not so different, but that the behavioral differences are correlated with the development of a particular portion of the brain. They don't even know if the behavior results in the brain differences, or if the brain differences stimulate the active hunting vs. lurking behaviors in these trout.
No matter how magnificent your successes or devastating your failures, the worlds' approximately 5 billion impoverished people could not possibly care less.

Yeah, the title is horrible  I imagine they'll go on to look at those things or someone else will.
