Yea, I know it's way OT -- but I have a programming class I am taking and was wondering if anyone is familiar with Visual Basic... lol... Or know where to point me for help :D

Wish i could, but the programing class i took was in c...i have to retake it in the fall lol. Good Luck Though!!

I know you still use it to make macros on Microsoft excel .. the drop down menus etc.. I just don't know what they don't embed it in the program. I don't know what else it is used for today.

Last time I used it was for writing short batch scripts.. and that was a long time ago.. sorry!

All is good. Ya, They still teach this stuff. I gotta make a silly calculator - I have it all working except I gotta figure out why it won't let me put in the line of code (they tell you what to put in... I must not put it in the right spot) it errors and won't run. Without the line, it's GREAT, it just doesn't quite clear the output if you delete a variable.
