Soggy, I understand your feelings..I do not agree..but I understand...and you have every right to feel that way....
Mekong was trying to post a geological event to top a tornado...that is were we were at..we were not trying to post the most horrific event..it is not like he was showing bodies and what nots...I mean how else would you depict an earthquake in a picture? You did not mention anything bothered you about the tornado....tornadoes kill people every year...
I could understand you more if we were posting blood and gore plus we are doing this for fun.....because being able to laugh about things like that is much better than hiding under a rock and praying...no offense to religion!

I guess some people are missing the point, it doesnt need to necessarily beat another image in terms of rock beats scissors, but anything goes, as in more funny or what ever. Dont worry about if hands down it beats it, hell if its funny and even unrelated post it.... The idea is to have a funny image thread that has some what of a on going related theme, but that doesn't sound as good as image war... I.E. this image doesn't necessarily beat the last but is related because it is from a funny news story, and IMO more funny than the 'I like turtles' news story.
