they sure will eat ghost shrimp -- mine took a while to realize they are food, but once he did, they were gone pretty quick --

thought id chime in on this one --- i have had mollies and BBGs with figure 8s -- every mollie has been killed but every BBG is still alive and kickin' -- seems like the complete oppisite of pufferpunk -- guess its all about the personality of the indiv puffer -- if i had the room, id go with chromi...

my BBGs aren't a good clean up crew --- once it hits the bottom they leave it alone - unless really hungry i guess -- i feel like my f8 cleans up after himself, which is a problem if i overfeed and the BBGs dont clean up -- ive found using a turkey baster and target feeding everyone to be the best -...

that makes sense -- java fern is natutally occuring in brackish waters from what i understand, so i would prob be able to withstand rapid changes in SG

my figure 8 lived with 5 shrimp for a good month before he decided they werent roomates, but food

no he goes after them immediately

it just takes some time for them to settle in
