Re: Where to buy seachems prime in the UK
found this on another site : ' Right now a legal squabble is going on, and this will most likely be the last weekend that you can buy Seachem products at great prices on eBay, and possibly anywhere. Unfortunately for all of us the UK importer has threatened all eBay and Amazon businesses to remove a...

Re: Inactive Fahaka
To be honest looking at your vid i'd say your fahaka looks A1 in size , colouration and activeness, certainly doesnt look over or under fed . I 've personally found with mine that she ( or he ! ) likes a good munch pre a growth spurt . As for all this unfounded fatty liver disease , its poinless wit...

Re: Inactive Fahaka
Agreed, that's why it's important to over filter and clean up any waste food from the tank. I disagree with starving a fish being healthier though. All you will do is stunt it's growth and leave it open to disease through a lack of nutrientse A starving fish is at a different end of the spectrum to...

Re: Inactive Fahaka
a hungry fish is a healthy fish by and large ...........overfeeding is not just detrimental to the fish by consumption but also vastly lowers water quality due to excessive waste .

Re: Inactive Fahaka
Fahakas do get bored of eating the same food , i find that regular variation of diet keeps mine active ........she'll go mad for cockles one day and another day not be in the slightest bit interested in it , however dangle something different like a bit of mussel ( as in your lovely vid ) in front o...

Re: New Fahaka Owner - Advice Wanted
Sands fine for when your fahakas very small but as they get bigger and cause more mess you'll find the sand a bugger to keep clean and a fine gravel is a lot easier to maintain , also sand is very supscetible to BGA especially in puffer tanks where theres a lot of excess nutrients due to waste .
