................nearly any raw seafood, frozen/defrosted, chopped
clams, mussels, oysters, crab meat, shrimp, squid, lobster, use your imagination! :)
soak the raw frozen/chopped food in vitamins before feeding
also, small live snails and blackworms are a favorite

......also, some people have success soaking the food in a little garlic juice, the logic being that the fish like the taste

OK, I'll go easy on you......... you should have stuck with two answer ALL the questions in the red box, above and what is the ammonia reading? are you using liquid test kits or test strips? (the strips are garbage!) overcrowding can cause stress, might be your problem what were the new puffers eati...

Shame I thought this would be a hot topic. I've noticed that this site isn't very active and its aloof at times like now, so puffers must be very niche. it will float, as it is lighter than water
if you were to re-hydrate it, it may sink
some puffers are bottom feeders, some are not

Nitrate may be 5.0 ppm colour is between the two samples. Ammonia looks like .25ppm to me 0 to my wife. Test done with API master fresh water kit. The tank was cycled for 2 weeks with guppies and platties in it. any ammonia is bad........... if you have trouble differentiating the colors on the cha...

With few exceptions (VERY few), puffers do not do well in "community" tanks.
A glass divider will probably result in stressed fish on both sides of it.

frozen food should be defrosted before feeding
after defrosting, it can be soaked in liquid fish vitamins
