Shame I thought this would be a hot topic. I've noticed that this site isn't very active and its aloof at times like now, so puffers must be very niche. Anyway I'm certainly interested and could do with the info. I can't be any help here since I haven't bought any vitamins sorry. ............oh, so...

Nitrate may be 5.0 ppm colour is between the two samples. Ammonia looks like .25ppm to me 0 to my wife. Test done with API master fresh water kit. The tank was cycled for 2 weeks with guppies and platties in it. any ammonia is bad........... if you have trouble differentiating the colors on the cha...

With few exceptions (VERY few), puffers do not do well in "community" tanks.
A glass divider will probably result in stressed fish on both sides of it.
