Re: Amazon pea puffers and angelfish

Clewliss, do you remember this......................? yes.. they will 100% harass the snail until it dies and they will eat it, they'd probably also do the same to any other fish species. Puffers don't play well with others. please, please, please do not experiment with living things you asked for g...

Re: How do dwarf puffers do with moving?

I moved all my fish (including Dwarf Puffers) in new Home Depot buckets with lids, air stones, air pump, and auto inverter to run the pump.
It was about a 10 hour drive.
The temperature remained stable with the car's heater/AC system.

My substrate is black 80% and white 20% but he likes a creamy tan color as far as I can see. raw food only - no cooked food! is your black substrate smooth-grained? ho...

Epsom salt wouldn't do any harm, not sure on the methylene blue.
Do you have a quarantine tank to treat him in?

Re: DP w/chin blister/abscess...idk?

sadly, this is often the end result of "rescue fish" (and cats, dogs, ferrets, sometimes even humans..................)
their health and long-term wellness are severely compromised by what they were subject to prior to getting a home
I hope your luck is better than this

Re: Congo Puffer (Tetraodon Miurus)

I know tank mates for it, because with the 2 I had before, the tank mates were a Discus, fire eel, dragon puffer, leaf fish, datnoid, common pleco, albino bichir, archer fish, and an silver arrowana. I just don't know why the previous have died, nothing was wrong with the parameters in my tank, but...
