Re: New fahaka
You sound like a great pufferparent! I would get him a cave or 2. The more heavily decorated the tank, the safer he will feel & you'll see more of him. https://www.thepufferforum.com/forum/library/hospital/internal-parasites-prevention-and-treatment/ https://www.pufferfishenthusiastsworldwide.co...

Re: White patch on MBU
I don't think it's a puffer bite, they are usually a whitish circle. It is very difficult to take a chunk out of their leathery, sandpaper skin. Is it getting larger? Fuzzy? I'd just make sure his water is pristine & treat with Melafix to help with the healing.

Re: Lethargic, refusing food, yellow lump
Hi, I have never heard of the product, Fishkeeper, nor can I find any info on it. Most "bacteria in a bottle" are just dead bacteria, which will make your ammonia/nitrite even worse. ANY ammonia at all (other than 0) is extremely toxic to your fish. How exactly was your tank cycled? The pu...

Re: About figure-8 puffer and tank mates
They do appear to be the BW BBGs.
Freezing is best & then I thaw in room-temperature water with a few drops of fish vitamins (ie: Vita-Chem).
I find mollies to be mean bullies. Here's a good article on BW tankmates that I helped write: https://badmanstropicalfish.com/brackish-aquarium/

Sorry this too so long to respond to! Having IP issues... He has a severe eye infection. I would do Meth blue dips on him. It would also help if you would answer ALL the questions above, in red. https://www.pufferfishenthusiastsworldwide.com/post/how-to-methylene-blue-baths https://www.thepufferforu...
