Re: Guy almost kills i'mself and family from Saltwater Tank

I have done many drawings of how I will set up the tank, I have never followed one though lol I just dump the stuff in one at a time and slowly change things around to fit everything and until I am pleased with the end result, but my drawing skills are appalling  so I don't bother with th...

I only have a leather right now, but I have no idea yet what kind of corals I want. Guess I'll figure that out first .Pufferpunk wrote:I would not trust them with $$$ corals. Try softies.

A very pretty puffer that Orange Tail Fiji. Are those considered coral-safe? I don't care if the clean up crew slowly disappears .

I was hoping for a backup solution in case I can't catch it.Pufferpunk wrote:Try a FW dip.
Though it seems its gone, so with some luck it will attach itself to a clown next time, easiest to catch . Though with some extra extra luck the Goby ate the leech as soon as it let go for payback.

Parasite on goby
Hey everyone :D My to-be reef setup is coming together and I added a few fish. However it seems that my yellow clown goby caught a pest. To me it looks like a leech. It makes a pumping motion and can stretch to twice the length it is on the picture. http://i48.tinypic.com/n5hh5i.png Anyone know of a...

One could put liverock rubble in the canister and still use it.Pufferpunk wrote:Yep, for SW, you dump the canister. Look into the 46g bowfront--beautiful tank!
My Python dumps into the basement. 100' long hose.

Very nice music . Have they just been fed or are they just a little obese ? Fat puffers always look cuter . Really like the tank.

Seems primarily aimed at selling through amazon. The name is misleading as well, I cannot find a single review.

Avid gamer here.
Though since a year or two I've seem to have become really picky on what games I spend my previous time. Right now I am only playing Battlefield 3 and a few Tales of <...> games.

Re: Is this too much decoration for a fahaka?
speaking of waves.... would the current of my out take making waves on the top of the tank be the cause of my fahaka being lazy at all? Not sure how that would make a fish lazy. I would say that regular feedings would make an intelligent fish lazy. They know the food will come, so they can ju...

Ugh... It pays to be lazy in these situations. I would just have chucked it out on the lawn, next to the other 10-20kilo of rock . Definitely good to keep in mind for sure though.

I feed reef chili and coral frenzy. i will get some mysis shrimp soon. i hear vortechs make a lot of noise at 50% or more power. i am hoping to use a stronger pump, set the power to low, and avoid the nois...

A Vortech MP40 is more than plenty imo. That thing can do 3200G/hr. Or 2 MP10s, 1 on each side.Terrance wrote:I need to get a calcium reactor, MP60, algae scrubber, used skimmer, and many more..
