Re: Planted to Brackish

Salt "burns" is my guess, freshwater fish absolutely cannot survive in that high salinity. Rehome/separate the freshwater fish from the GSP's.

Re: My new Fahaka Puffer!

Sir or Madam,
The photo is of a puffer and everyone on this thread is discussing puffers. You may be getting unsolicited advice, but it is very good and helpful information. You may choose to follow it or ignore it, but the snarky attitude is not necessary.

I can't remember. They are not the Dwarf Blue Legged, because I remember they told me they didn't have any in stock, but they still have blue legs. :/

Re: Future German Blue Ram Home

I have an updated pic. I've changed the filter to a canister with a really long spray bar so I can have the GPH without the turbulence. It also keeps the floaters on one side of the tank. I still need to set up an air pump with a nighttime timer, and then it should be ready for the Cardinals to move...

Re: Tetra Safestart Test

I thought I would post an update. The filter has been switched over for some time now, with the media placed into the new filter. The Eheim is of course an awesome filter as a side note. The tank is still stable. I moved some of the ceramic noodles to my future Ram tank, and it cycled it pretty much...

Re: Good value plant supplements

Planted tanks aren't exactly less maintenance. They need to be trimmed, if you are dosing and running CO2 , you need to check your levels periodically. Planted tanks also have a lot of debris. Ever so often the plants will need to be thinned out. However, they are worth the work IMO, and it's really...

Re: The Mushroom Diaries!

I was hoping you would post numbers and specifics, as far as temp, SG, tank size, etc. for anyone reading this in the future who may have the same type of puffer.
Thanks.
