Try feeding him live crayfish and red clawed crabs. Hard shells but easy for Fahakas to eat through. And mine with leave nothin behind. Shell, meat, and claws get ate.

Yeah Bertie can help you out with a good vitamin supplement brand in your country. Those live worms should soak up the liquid muti-vitamin really well. And boosting his immune system is a must.

PP, I believe that he is right at a point. The nitrifying bacteria has to live and produce somewhere in the tank. And in the filter, where there would be more oxygen, is where there should be more. But a well mature tank will have nitrifying bacteria though out the tank also. Now, I dont believe in ...

Just be sure to soak his food in a good liquid multi-vitamin supplement. Boosting the immune system really helps with stress and disease.

I found out the they use alot of bacteria in a bottle product. That is one reason they add so many fish, all at once. I seriously dont know how that can add that many so fast but they got ways of doing it.

Love the tank!! Rock would be great for a fahaka that likes to chew on things. Maybe some base rock that you would use for African Cichlid tanks.

Well after 10 years and no problems, I would say he was doing it right. Protein skimmers just helps makes things alittle easier, imo.

Yeah, I believe that porcupine just seem to puff up pretty regular compare to other species. Mine did and so did alot of other porcupine owners mentioned their doing the same.
