Re: Deworming.

if it is a ip you would most likely see signs in some of the others unless he is very weak try feeding him up. just a recap dont put chemicals in unless 100% necessary. i occasionally get a skinnier dp but thats because the others munch the food before he can get a chance to have his fill

Re: Deworming.

personally i would never treat with chemicals unless you know there is a problem. if he eats well and seems well best to leave it out imo. keep an eye on him and if he starts to seem irritated then have a search through the relevant sections on this forum, if he is not acting strange he may just be ...

Re: filtration

was thinking about buying ontop of my filtration as an extra, but if its gonna damage my cycled tank then no chance, so does it take out much of the good stuff compared to the bad? is it hazardous to my tank? or is it just pointless? just hit summer here its really hot, so this is when i start my ba...

Not 100% sure on s/w but that seems big enough, also if you include sump then that makes 100 gallons .

I would not even keep my tetras that tightly packed, if you want to enjoy your fish give them space to move

Re: filtration

I am a terrible filter snob. I use Eheim for external canisters, period. I have many of them, and multi-filert almost all of my tanks. When the Fuuvals are faint memories, the Eheims will still be running just fine. Merging returns or intakes is not really the best technique. keeping them independe...
