I got her at about 7-8 inches and she has always had it. I wil keep my eye on it. Best fish I ever got! I love her to pieces - so much so that I often get into trouble with my other half. "what do you mean, you like a fish more than me?" Oh well, she has a box fish and a cow fish that I kn...

Lumpy Bumpy

Boo has always had this bump inbetween her eyes. Any old schoolers heard of any thing similar. It doesn't bother her one bit!

Maybe if I wish really hard she might turn out to be a Unicorn Puffer....

Yeah definitely keeping them all together. I have tried when they were young and they did alright, But this was only for a couple of months. I have seen others in LFS's where there is 2, one small mangled one and a larger, less mangled one!

Mine is vey friendly. I can hand feed no problem. She has only bitten me once when I had a nervous twitch in a free finger which she mistook for a prawn. That hurt a bit.
I bet I sound like a right idiot.

I have no probs with moving fish to good homes - what gets me is that these people get a kick out of watching a feeder fish being killed rather than obtaining enjoyment from maintaining a fish properly. Some of the videos I have found were disgusting. I didn't mean to insult anyone here - I love thi...

Tetraodon RTR.

Much like the palambangensis, RTR is slow moving and relatively reclusive. But one stirred from his resting place, this animal can be rather bellicose! Never mess with the old skool!

Well said RTR, Who can call themselves a fish lover if they are prepared to get rid of a fish. LFS's encourage it by offering credit. I don't - if you dont want the fish, you dont get any money for it. If I lived in America I could buy fish that grow to stupid sizes and when you can't house them who...

no, unfortunately Judas is no longer with us. I would say that he is in eaven now but i think his soul may still be in limbo, hiding in my slipper or waiting to bite my finger when i go to switch on a light in a darkened room. Now I have Boo 18" of cuddly Mbu, the sweetest little(ish) girl I've...

I'm with you on that one PP! I LURVE rainbows. At work, occasioally I have 'Rainbow Masters' come in. They regale me with tales of the mythical 'Millenium Rainbowfish' before dissapearing in a ball of light every colour of the rainbow. God I love those Rainbow Masters! But I prefer the Puffer Master...
