Re: Palembang - seriously tempted

@Pufferpunk - many thanks. I've seen a 100 litre cuboid tank that should be adequate for one with turning room?

Palembang - seriously tempted

Went to our epic LFS who had 5 Palembang puffs. First time ever seen them in the flesh and they were a healthy healthy size, one in particular loved. Understand lurkers and had a congo in the past. Given their inactivity is 30-40 US gallons for water quality and fact they are chunky monkeys? They ha...

Re: T. Schoutedeni

Hi are your guys getting on?

I was going to ask your group, did you get them all at the same time? My two are in a 55 gallon and wondering if could add to the mix or if that would be an exceedingly bad idea.

Re: Why redeyes are no longer available?

I have no answer for this but would be interested to know too, especially as used to see Irrubesco about and now none on any stocklists!

Re: T. Schoutedeni

Fantastic news, I hope he steps up to his puff husband duties of spawning properly for you ;) Did you manage to sex yours before this behaviour with your 5? Or a case of the spawning has given them their genders? My two little guys are growing well and settling well but curious if I will ever be abl...

Re: Schoutedeni, SAP or Irrubesco dilemma

Both are doing well as a bit of an update. At the moment they are in with cardinal tetras and guppies. Unfortunately their "starve days" have coincided every time with a cardinal disappearing...so I am down to 2 now and don't think I will add more. They really object to not being fed. Very...

Hi pufferpunk - thanks for that :)

They've settled in well now and this weekend went and got a ton of live plants and more bogwood to add more interest to the tank which think should help

Re: Schoutedeni, SAP or Irrubesco dilemma

@PUFFWHO - thank you for that, glad to hear yours are getting along great :) Now I've had mine for a couple of weeks, they have really settled in, eating well. Tong and spot feeding has lessened the squabbles and they do a bit of chasing but only off "their spot". This weekend I gained a t...
