Puffers have to hunt for their food in nature, so its good for them to hunt in the aquarium. He'll find it. OH man! Once I fed him some blood worms I walked away. I then turned around and he found the snail. He absolutely destroyed the poor thing. I felt like a proud parent that just saw my son hit...

I have 15 pounds of base rock, and my water right from the tap is already at a really high kH level. If your water needs buffering, than maybe not the best option...

Really? This is a normal thing? (bitting plants)

Theres a crawfish in there and they ripped it to shreds. It was awesome!

Weird f8 puffer behaviour

Brought my f8 puffers home today and slowly dripped them into my brackish tank (petstore = 1.002 My tank = 1.005) They seem very happy and their colors are great! They have already taken out 4 snails that i had in the tank before they were put in, and they also hunted and killed a crawfish. Anyway, ...

IME, co-culturing feeders in the same tank is poor practice. Over time one species will do well, the other much less so. In culturing food, one species per container is best and also most productive. Does that go for the body of water or just the roaming space? In other words, have you tried puttin...

Good point... If anything i may just freeze some to use only as last resort back up in case something happened to my snail breeding tank.

But no worries about the sharp edges?
