Re: HELP! All new to me-what to put in a 40B

Sad when they sit in the store instead of a good home. One shop had a Arrowhead for at least six months that was being sustained on feeder goldfish. I never did go back to see if they sold it.

This one is pretty affordable for me to get compared to some of the others. Any particular reason you like this one?
My own vote was for the hairy... which is not cheap, but the best Ive actually been able to see.

Re: New to the forum

I forgot the bubble equipment storage - when there is not quite enough wind to fly kites, you need to have bubble- blowing apparatus (both small and giant bubbles, powered and manual), even though we do have zero-wind kites. I have flown two line stunt kites for years. Been at least 15 years since ...

Re: HELP! All new to me-what to put in a 40B

Tatertot is cool looking! Not free in may case. This Congo is $50 and a 45 minute drive away. The hairy is $70 + $25 shipping. I think between the two I would pick the hairy. It was pretty cool looking. They also have a dragon for $25 and $25 in shipping.... I think I am down to the Arrowhead or Hai...

Re: HELP! All new to me-what to put in a 40B

Spotted a Congo at one of the local stores. It seemed very active in a planted tank hunting down little guppies. It was a bit bland looking with just a pale brown color to it. If it were one of the really red ones, it probably would have made its way home with me.

Re: New to the forum

Ha! I started out right... I had a dozen tank before I got married. Requiring a fish room was needed from the get-go. I got back into fishkeeping after I was married for about 7 years. My wife has been extremely supportive of my hobby since then but really I dont see any more tanks coming into the ...

Re: New to the forum

Technically our 'home office' is for my wife's bookkeeping business. But my 72g bowfront and 40B are in there. My 210g is in 'her' living room. I have to give her credit though, for a recent thing that happened. I got a new fish that was sick and at the same time ended up ordering some fish that wer...

Re: HELP! All new to me-what to put in a 40B

I hate dirty tanks and have regular maintenance time with the fish in each. Looks like a puffer is perfect for me. At the moment I need to deal with a few grow outs, sell off a fish or two and still find my puffer.

Re: Petsolutions.com

I have ordered tons of supplies over the years from them and also did a live fish order. The supply orders always came on time and never had any damage. The fish order also impressed me. I ordered a Senegal bichir and a Delhezi bichir. They both came in healthy and in the notes I asked if they could...

Aquarium Co-Op in Edmonds, WA

One of the forum members here (CoryWM) who has a big, beautiful Mbu puffer named Hank also has a store. Its called Aquarium Co-Op and it is one of the cleanest and nicest fish stores Ive been to. Even my wife enjoyed going in there. You can also check them out online and watch the 'Hank cam' to see ...

Re: How did you find The Puffer Forum?

Ive been a lurker for about a year or so as I have been researching puffers and always ended up back here to the PufferPedia, and the forums. Finally I recently joined up and am on the hunt for a puffer of my own to go into a 40B.
