Re: My Congos are starting to look alike!
That's certainly interesting. I've never heard of puffers changing color like that, but then again I'm not extremely familiar with freshwater puffers. Pictures of them, if at all possible, would be nice.

How big is/was the black ghost knife?Pufferpunk wrote:He nipped each of their tail when 1st introduced (welcoming nip?) but has never bothered it since then. I lost the 1st BGK & the old elephants when I accidentally refilled the tank with cold water after a WC.

Re: Pink on my LR
When they're small they're fine. As they grow they can become territorial and go after fish that bother them. They can also become eaters of soft coral. This thread highlights some of the downsides of the Emerald Crab.

It would be great if I could get some feedback on these pages.
Specifically content and layout of that content. I am aware that when viewing as a guest the title banner isn't correctly positioned; I'm working on that.

Nice family of canthigasters. A Valentini would make a great addition.

Re: Temperate puffer
http://www.fishbase.org/Summary/Species ... ame=parvus - That puffer caught my interest. But it is subtropical and probably wouldn't enjoy the temperature of the tank - 62 degrees Fahrenheit.
