Big are not as "cowie" anymore, but this one is lovely. Sorry mate but what do you mean? Oh, about the cowie stuff? it is the way we call the calfs or babay cows in my locality (when speaking in english), So, what i mean was that lactoria cornuta adults are not as cute as the young ones. ...

my gsps became friends of a ghost shrimp that i served like food, at the end, the shrimp measures 10 cm and the puffers seems to feed him spiting food to his position, he leave when the tank became marine.

May be snails are small enough to get sucked, try with a little bigger snail until you see they put the open inside and then cruuusssh..

Probably the ones on the blue bucket are T.Fluviatilis..
Most of all traditional asian markets i visited are just like that, some stores, some specialized & good stores and those folks that show the fish on many buckets at the street.

Yep, i´ve seen they are more pets than food lol. Well, i think ill start a project to breed this shrimp if i find them at accesible prices, we just got a 80gal container to "mature" marine water and i know a "Nannochloropsis" (phytoplankton) culture provider, also some cladophora...

Hi there! :D I was reading about some feeder shrimps for my puffers, and i make a stop on the amano shrimp, many puffer keepers in USA said that is a good source of live food, but they are expensive in my country... so... Does any one knows how to breed them or have ever read a trustable article or ...

I have a small experience with 2 Monotrete Species and, well, how can i say, this fish are not safe for other tank mates at all, specific tanks are better for long term keeping.
About sexig puffers, it is not possible through observation (except on carinotetraodon Sp.)

Big eyed baby by then uuh!
I never remove the claws of the shrimps or crayfish, it is good for hunter & prey to be involved in a serious feeding situation.

1.003 is just ok, but i´ll go to 1.005 at least a pair times per month, cuz is well known that 1.005 is F8´s motto.
