Uncooked VS. Cooked
So, I know when you buy things like crab, oysters, clams and such it all needs to be uncooked. However, I was wondering why this is? Does cooking it take out needed nutrients and such?

Re: My Goldfish, By Request
What size tank do you keep them in? I had five goldfish that I moved to a 550 gallon swimming pool (filtered and everything still) because I was informed they all got too big for tanks. Yours are very gorgeous.

Re: What Fish Should I Get?
A stars and stripes puffer: Minimum Tank Size: 180 US Gallons (670 liters)
So as said before, it shouldn't be an option.

Re: New with some questions
As it was said above none of them can be in a four gallon, but it would be great for snails. A lot of freshwater puffers need at least 20 gallons for just one. But you can get a 5 gallon for one dwarf puffer. However, remember bigger is always better and puffers need extra filtration. I say give the...

Re: NEW OWNER OF DWARF PUFFS!
Firstly I would suggest upgrading to a 15 gallon tank, at least. Dwarf Puffers need 5 gallons (A piece) at least. Housing three together in a ten gallon could cause aggression problems. Your temperature should be between 74 and 82.5 F. Your pH: 6.5 - 7.2. The tank should be heavily planted/decorated...

Re: Q & A before I get a new Puffer, please help
I got all this information here: http://www.thepufferforum.com/forum/ug.php/v/PufferPedia/Freshwater/?g2_page=1 All these puffers are freshwater puffers. I don't know if all of them are okay with plants but I saw that several of them needed planted tanks. Good luck with everything and have fun with ...

Re: how can i clean my puffers tank???
One of the best ways to eliminate algae is to actually make sure your tank isn't in direct sunlight. You can use a magnet cleaner for the glass, and if you happen to stir up algae when you're using your gravel vac don't worry too much. The filter will suck most of it up if it's good. Good luck =]

Re: New Here and with questions
First off, welcome. Now there's a lot of things that you should know when you're taking care of puffers. Firstly, as the other replies have said your puffers need separate tanks. Your Green Spotted Puffer will need at the very least 30 gallons to him/herself. Your Figure Eight puffer needs at the ve...
