Definitely scpion has seen a lot more Ceylon and gsps than the rest of us! I can't go 100% certain either way. Perhaps call it a Ceylon green spotted puffer lol! I'd love to see this puffer as an adult for sure!

Re: Identify puffer

I'm gonna stick to my conclusion...UNTILL He grows up! LOL. I've never seen a pattern like that on a gsp, it's almost too perfect. I absolutely see why some call it a gsp though! I think it's a waiting game on this one. I think when he's older it will be much easier to tell. If it makes you feel bet...

Re: Identify puffer

Alright then, I am gonna be unpopular here. I know, I know! It looks more Ceylon than gsp to me. I think it's a juvenile and your first pictures were a bit misleading. Time will tell :) I could be wrong! I'm not trying to argue....but yeah... 2 different puffs. Here is a Ceylon at a similar angle, y...

Give them one of these! It's fool proof, and is my trusted puffer transportation device. Easier and safer than a net.

Re: Today I have managed to make a massive fool of myself

That drives me crazy, pet stores automatically assume Puffers are marine...because of the famous porky and dogface. Good that you called and wanted to do something! :yourock: This is how I found my fangs puffer... he was in fw, but look at him, not rock to hide behind. For a whole year! http://www.t...

More time, they are drama queens. You might speed things along with a complex tank.

Re: puff ID?(solved) Question!!!!!! Please give your input!

I like single 55s for single cichlids. I have my Texas in one. Perfect for a smallish/medium cichlid.

My next 55 might be for a school if tiger barbs. I love those things. I had some once, until and unfortunate incident.
