alls done and all went fine

well i have to stick the new background on the inside of the tank as the glass has some awful marks on it so in order to do this i need to drain the tank water.so he needs to move.shpuld only be 1 hr so will he be ok ?

im doing a few things to my mbus tank today.my question is how long will he last in a bucket with no air pump and just a heater?? i have no air pump.he should only be in there for approx 1hr 30mins

his poop is not stringy but it is like chain pooping and only when he has the prawns.

his poo never looks like that.never white and stringy.it is chain looking tho with a pink tinge to it,but only when he has prawns. i also found that when ever i fed him the cooked prawns he would spend the rest of the night laying down.tonight ive given him the raw prawn and hes still up and about.i...

so it has nothing to do with his food at all?? when it fell on the sand it was a light pink and not white so it must be the cooked prawn thats doing it.i have given him raw prawn tonight so i will watch his poo over the next few days and stop the cooked prawn before i jump in and start treating him ...

i agree i just wanted to see what your thoughts were on people who did.id never touch my puffer.doesnt seem right to do that

yeah i know.ive decided not to add anything else as i dont want anything to go wrong.alls good now.hes settled in perfect and i dont want to ruin that.

ive read that some people stroke there puffers but some say it isnt good for the puffer due to there slime coat??

whats your opinion on stroking them??

well obviously i considered adding fish with him but never decided to i was just curious to what you have kept with them.now reading your replies i may a 20 neon tetras with him and leave it at that.
