Re: DP 10 gallon
I think if i had another 10, I'd get 2. DPs aren't notorious for being aggressive like larger puffers are, and then you can watch them interact with one another

Re: DP 10 gallon
As said before get 1 or 2 DPs for your 10g and you won't be sorry. I'd go with 2. They will come out to see you every time you are near the tank. I'm looking at my DP tank right now and they have their little faces smashed against the glass looking at me. lol ahaha cute! So would getting just one w...

Re: Snails
Do you have any paint lying around? backgrounds are expensive, the bottom of my snail tank is just acrylic paint. Even if you don't have some, I'm sure a small cheap bottle & brush wouldn't be as much as backgrounds. (if you do decide to go paint instead of bg, make sure you use acrylic, its wat...

Re: DP 10 gallon
No, I don't think so. I don't personally have any DPs but I know several people on here have one or two in a 10 gallon, and I've seen pictures of them, they seem to do quite nicely. Of course they're tiny and they like to hide, so it might be hard to find them every now and then, but it's not as tho...

Re: The Newest Addition: Baby Goldfish
He's got the right bodyshape & tailfins for a moor... And I know this isn't infallable, but he was labeled as one, haha.
Are you talking about his eyes? Their eyes don't get the big "popped" look until they are older.

Re: DP 10 gallon
10 gallons can adequately one or two DPs I dont believe it will look barren, just make sure to add lots of cool decor for them to explore!

Re: Snails
I don't see why the two bookshelf tanks wouldn't work, or why Yoshi wouldn't be able to eat them. I think you'll be okay. I don't know about substrate/decor though.
Gage won't let me get another breeder @_@ Won't let me get another anything, for that matter, hahaha.

Not done decorating at all, but here he is! http://i42.tinypic.com/1411en5.jpg Here's a better picture of him. He's got a frowny-face on. http://i40.tinypic.com/w80s1z.jpg His name is Harley Ludwig von Wilsonson. I'm not really sure how that happened, but it is. Mostly named after Beethoven. Yesterd...

Re: Puffer Jumping
My puff doesn't get freaked out at night, but she jumps when she knows she's getting fed. a LOT. she works herself into such a frenzy that she sometimes doesn't even notice the food once it's been dropped in, she just keeps jumping at the top. Puffs are adorable, they are like 5 years old kids (with...

Re: Came Home to a New Tank!
Is that an eclipse hood with filter and biowheel? I have the eclipse hood systems 1 and 3. The filter is pretty weak. I had to add an aquaclear powerhead with quickfilter. Or you can add an external filter. So I'm setting up the tank and I don't know if this part is submersible or not, but I'd gues...

Re: Came Home to a New Tank!
*is tryin to talk Lola into a big tank so when she moves and decides she cant take it he can have dibs on it* i am terribly unsurprised, haha. it's not even the tanks i'm concerned about, really, it's the fish that inhabit them. i have nightmares about trying to drive Lola to California (dying to g...
