Re: Losing an inch of water in a 55g tank in a week. A Conce
Well all my tanks are together in a corner of a living room area with little to no sunlight exposure on a north wall. They have glass tops except for my smallest tanks. The odd thing is it is just my largest SW tank that is losing water this quick. The FW ones of any size take 3x longer to lose wate...

Re: GSP relocation to Full Marine
I also lost 3 more dwarf cerinths yesterday. the funny part about it is that the GSP hovers above the snail for a few seconds while staring me down as if "look, look what I'm about to do". Then slams the thing. Oh well, I knew going into it that everything was food. Something good I have ...

Losing an inch of water in a 55g tank in a week. A Concern?
Over the past few months I am having to top off my 55g marine tank more often and it seems as its losing about an inch of water over a period of 7-10 days. Re: Dwarf Puffer Tank Setup
They grow somewhat slow so that setup will be ok for a couple months if he is tiny enough but if you want to commit to keeping him make sure the tank is cycled, rehome the zebra fish, and start investing in salt for brackish water and preferably a 29-40 gallon tank. Also get a bottle of this http://...

Re: Why are Figure 8's brackish?
It really is impossible to keep a stable GH/KH, if that's what you're thinking. I really wish I could contact RTR about this for a better explanation. I'm just going by what he has posted on this subject the past. It's all on this site somewhere. Unfortunately, he went blind before he wrote his F8 ...

Mix in garlic juice for that as it will mask the medications. Puffers do tend to get picky when ill or detect medicated foods.

Re: GPS *Curved spine* help please
I like using and crushing up the Tetra Parasite guard tablets and putting them in a small bowl of water with the food. Let the food soak overnight to soak up the meds.
