Re: Quarantining a porcupine puffer
These links should get you started :) I've tried to pull ones more relevant to porc puffs. It makes me so happy to see people willing to do their research first. What a lucky little puff yours will be! http://www.thepufferforum.com/forum/library/hospital/qtine/ http://www.thepufferforum.com/forum/li...

Re: Toys for your fahaka
I actually did this with my figure 8, I have a plastic practice golf ball, the ones with holes in them, so it sinks... Thought he would be curious as it's the only yellow thing in the tank but not really, maybe since it's so bigger that him... So I pulled it out of the tank and times to times I put...

Re: Vita-chem question
PP, I'll definitely look into the plankton. I think I remember Elmer's (the store in question) having that around. there's a couple other places I'll call around for blackworms. Would mysis shrimp be better in the mean time, if I can get them to eat it? They took a few bites of the raw shrimp I gave...

Re: Vita-chem question
F8s are actually found in FW in nature. Oh. I wasn't sure about that. But I had asked the manager which formula I should go with since Feather's in brackish...he told me go with marine. Tried to get blackworms the day I got the girls, but some lady had cleaned them out two days before, and they're ...

Vita-chem question

Now that I've gotten my two DP girls settled and eating (already on frozen bloodworms, since that's what they were eating at the store), do I need to get the freshwater formula? Are the two really that different? Or wou...

Feather does that too! if i happen to shine my phone into his tank at night (it's right by my bed) he wants to investigate immediately. He never seems to sleep!

Seriously Fish Article on Stunting
Thought it was a good read. The "disposable" mentality towards fish most of the general public has makes me really sad.
