Re: What else to try to get teeth trimmed?

You can also hold the snail in a pair of tongs with the opening pointing up the length of the tongs so they will have to break the shell to get at its meat.

Re: Water Help

Correct for fresh and salt the charts are different, and yes most of us are diligent about our 50% changes on our FW tanks. For salt its usually a monthly for me but depends on the tank .

Re: reef ready for freshwater?

Contemplating the the reef ready ideas, to save space inside the tank looks like I'm going to drill a standard 40 long myself.( i absolutley love the 40 long size, so easy to work with).Putting a skimbox at the top that mates with an add-on box in the back containing a bean animal overflow. Initiall...

Re: Clean Up Crew

My gsp has always left ghost shrimp alone, but devoured a dozen peppermint shrimps. Not too familiar with chocolate chips but hermits are good as well as very large turbos and nerites. Then tend to keep themselves close enough to the glass and don't get picked at.

If going with live plants definitely go with the a soil substrate not sand. Some ither good beginner plants would be ...

reef ready for freshwater?

Just wanted to check if anyone has any experience using a reef-ready tank for freshwater applications. I am planning out a full room Reno. In this process I am looking to combine a 15 and a 20 gallon fresh into a single 40 long. I am planning on building an ADA style stand, ehiem canister, co2 injec...

Re: Sumps on puffer tanks?

Well all I can comment on is canisters. My recommendation is go big and don't look back. Don't think I'd ever but a sump on fresh. Just about to switch to a sump on my marine puff tank.

Re: Will soon be new to dwarf puffers and I have a few quest

My amanos have been in with my dps for about a year now. No issues so far but this hasnt exactly been a long term scenario and can be different tank to tank.
