Re: Which Puffer

I believe the carp stuff has the same ingredients, find out what the one you are planning on ordering has in it and post it on here. We will look. If you go to a private vet and explain what you are going to use it for they may sell you some

Re: I neeed help deciding which puffer is for me.

You can never have a tank too big for a puffer, especially not an active one. It allows you to be clever with your decor, providing excellent hiding spots and good open swimming ground. This can be hard to achieve if you go for minimal requirements imo. I love diy projects, however think a canister ...

Re: Which Puffer

I do actually like the f8 but I've not yet seen one in the store. It's a shame about the saps pacing, I really can only fit a 4ft tank in my room and I would have preferred fresh water as it's one less thing to worry about. It could work, can you deal with the dentistry issues? You would need a sep...

Re: UK EU Referendum

We must however consider; it does not matter who is the face of our countries, they are after all just the face, a puppet. The trail of lies and corruption behind a puppet is an indicator of what to expect, should the puppet be elected to a position of power. The office of president of the United S...

They don't as such, if a bit of food lands there they will take it and whatever it's attached to though

Re: Fahaka puffer help

A 1.5" fahakas can maim a big fish, seen it. Deep sand is unlikely to help. Can you not yet some of the filter media from the tank he is in to seed your new filter? Could have it up and running in no time with a small puffer like yours

Re: UK EU Referendum

We must however consider; it does not matter who is the face of our countries, they are after all just the face, a puppet. Do we really believe there will be big change if a particular candidate gets in? It just doesn't work like that, they lie to get votes and be liked, does anything really change?...

Re: Which Puffer

By the way, I'm not saying you definitely shouldn't get them. You just need to be prepared to keep saps. Yours may not pace as my experience has shown. You may be able to avoid regular dentistry by providing a big snail only diet. Maybe a 3.5-4ft tank could keep the particular saps you are looking a...

Re: Which Puffer

They just constantly charge up and down, left and right. When put in a long tank it seems to stop, the most bizarre fish I have kept. Other water types are no more difficult, just different things to consider. You can mix your own salty water in a tub. Easy peasy

+1 to feeding snails. They will take the easy option of soft food if given the chance. I recommend getting their tank cycle and ready asap to avoid performing dentistry. Welcome to the forum

It was the best result. Yea the pound is a little wobbly but it has been up and down for years. We will end up better off once it all settles. No-one is gonna decide to not trade with the UK. A bright future is ahead Good outlook Bertie 83! :) I hope my fellow citizens in the U.S. get their heads s...

Re: Which Puffer

If you want Amazon puffers (saps, South American puffers) from personal experience a tank no shorter than 5 foot is best. Anything smaller they just pace up and down, round and round. It drives you insane. I tried everything with mine, rescaped really heavy which was a pain to clean etc. they are am...

He could be sulking, as a Juvie mine was really active. Didn't really slow down until he was around 9". Small fahakas have been known to murder much bigger fish, not much if anything is truly safe with 99% of fahakas
