Re: Ah! Which hairy puffer?!
I dont think they do refunds after purchase but if they havent shipped could be worth giving them a ring and try and sweet talk them. Make up some story about the tank cracking or something.

Agreed gernerally you get a year subscription to McAfee with a new machine, its not uncommon for that not to work correctly though and expire before it should, i'vehad new ones out the box that havent worked properly at work, but I was removing it anyway so it doesnt matter to me.If it is over a yea...

Parents just dont listen
My Mum and her fella are on holiday in Egypt, I told them to steer clear of the pufferfish if they go swimming. Yesterday I got a text saying she had seen some massive pufferfish, No pics typically, damn. Then this morning I got a phone call saying her fella went swimming, he must have got a bit too...

Kusuri Wormer Plus. You can find it on ebay in the UK. They ship to the states so they might ship to Singapore. Basically what you ae looking for is an IP med with flubendazole as the main ingredient. Not sure if it will help, I can only give you the info that happened when I had mine.

I cant remember if I used them both at the same time. I think I would wait until at least the day after if you were going down the Melafix route.

Re: Anyone know whats wrong?
Yeah thats the kind of wounds I had on mine. Perhaps raise him into a low end brackish for a while, see if that helps. Go to 1.002 and then a week later 1.004 I have no idea if that will help but I doubt it could make the situation worse. I'm wondering if a bit of marine salt might stimulate him to ...

Re: Anyone know whats wrong?
Mine had these lumps when I got him, it was bigger than your specimens, it starts off as a lump under the skin, turns white and then drops off leaving the crater you describe. He had a few on the top half of him and one on his head. The craters took months to heal fully, very slow healing but they d...

Re: GSP vs Saba
Yes as Corvus said we dont exactly know what they are until someone classifies them properly, until then its pretty much guesswork. I have another album with loads of mystery ones with different markings, I have posted pics of them up before but if you havent seen them they are located here. Mystery...

Re: MBU (Midge) Looks Drunk
I have a soft spot for Severums but that should bring the nitrates down as they're not small and they are messy. Well mine was anyway.
True, puffer keepers tend to be owned. You pay for them and they make you pay more and more cash out keeping them.

Re: GSP vs Saba
If I had got that pic perfectly in focus I think I might have won POTM for once.
No I knowingly knew it was something else when it was posted up by another member. If it had been a GSP I wouldnt have bought it, they are my least favourite puffer (fire proof suit ready, bring on the flaming)

Re: GSP vs Saba
I lost it a while back my own fault fiddling with the house wiring, it was a bad week for puffers in my house. I had it in low brackish to start then went up to 1.010 then back up and down and then went to fresh. Its all in the sticky in the brackish section I think. Missed the chance on getting ano...
