Have you tried frozen krill? Mysis shrimp? I dont care for any freeze dried foods. All the nutritional value is pretty much gone. I have only seen one fish not eat mysis thus far. Most love it.

Re: Cover Your Filter Intakes!!!
We learn from our mistakes? This has happened three times? You're suppose to setting the bar PP not showing us how to make puffer smoothies. I agree stuff happens but truly believe you should be scolded for this one. Spankings are in order. Shame on you.

Re: Possible 55g
Almost any sharpnose puffer would be quite at home in a tank that size with plenty of room for a couple other fish. Any corals wont be safe. Some wont bother them but some will make a meal of em. I've had my valentini a couple weeks now and she nips at everything. They're adorable though and you wou...

Re: SaltWater Help please
Gotta disagree J-P. Brackish puffers, especially gsp's are easily the most expensive to maintain in brackish water simply because of all the salt you dump down the drain during water changes.J-P wrote:BW is cheaper because you are using less salt.. that is a residual cost

Re: SaltWater Help please
What do i need ? i only want a fish only tank. Do i really need a UV steriliser? Do i need a protein skimmer? Can i do less water changes full marine? How many water changes per week? I would recommend using live rock. A pound per gallon at minimum. You wont need a sterilizer. You will absolutely r...

Ripley
Total crap pic of my new little girl, Ripley. Better pics when she becomes more personable. Shes still pretty skittish right now but eats well and appears to be quite healthy. Had her about a week now. Just a tiny little thing about an inch and a half. She flits about the tank happily nipping at eve...

Re: Hello(:
Easily one of the most expensive considering the amount of salt you will go through with frequent, large water changes. Not trying to change your mind but it is something to consider. Once they mature some and can be kept in full marine, some of the burden can be eased by having a good skimmer and p...
