Dunno if it's UK only but TMC have new skimmers out, V2 skimmer or something. Been testing one a few days on a live rock curing butt and it seems pretty darn good!

That's what I am banking on! I have had lots of long conversations with the people who make it, but still I am not sure. There must be some people on this forum who have used it other than me! I have a little tank (24x12x15) which will undoubtedly end up as an experiment! Isn't there giant projector...

Dr Eberts Mbu growth rate

Does anyone else think Dr Ebert's mbus grew very slowly and only attained a modest size in the times he states? Is this stunting or controlled growth through feeding?

Bactinetts - any good?

Hey hey! Right, I am investigating a product which is becoming more popular in the UK and Europe. It is called bactinetts and is supposed to be live bacteria which you can add to your tank and add fish pretty much straight away. Have any people tried this out? I have used it on a lot of tanks (100 )...

There is a product in the UK and europe called bactinetts which is sold as "live Bacteria". I have found through talking to people that they are split as to how effective it is. I have used it and it worked. I have also used it and it didn't. I am going to start a thread about it...

I think a viewing pane is a must. As much for the Mbu as for you. Small waterproof TVs and some sort of a fish sofa too!

Don't give up EvilE, SA's are terrible at diseases. Just get the heat up - that is the easiest way. I have los quite a few due to ich. It is gutting but you can have your fishkeeping grow from the experience.
Chin up!

I will ask her if I can touch it.
She said 'sure!' Doesn't feel hard - more fatty. It doesn't grow/shrink/move etc.
I still think it's all preparation for when she grows the unicorn horn and becomes the most powerful puffer in the world!

I believe that by living in filth, my imune system is stronger, I eat absolute rubbish and never get ill.
My tanks are the opposite - clean and well fed. They eat MUCH better than I do!
I work with a man who I always catch eating JS seaveggies - he swears that it's good for him!

The other photo's date is 20-July-2005. So not a lot of change.

I'd forgotten how long ago I took the first photo. She must be 3-4 years old at a guess.
