What actually are the results of your tests?

What size tank & what fish are in there? SkeptikaL is right. You may have a hard time keeping plants at all in that SG.

Nope, just an expression of great suprise. Wondering how it could be done, that's all. $400 would buy a whole lot of stuff but for a 10g?

Read the sticky here on treating puffers w/ich. You really shouldn't use meds on them for that. Glad you're using Melafix too. Great article on GSPs in our Library too.

I'd wait & observe.

I haven't done anything but clean out a powerhead & check it's teeth. The other couple are hired to do all the work. I was actually just on hand, in case the puffer needed dental work.
