I like the dense growth, but would trim slightly.
Might I also suggest at least one slightly enlarged obvious void to allow
your fish to be in-the-clear at random times for your viewing, as well.

Re: Vortex Surfing Puffers -More Roll than Rock
Marine Puffs are tough. They'll get swallowed whole by a larger fish like a sea bass or tarpon, get mouthed, violently spat out, then simply shake it off and swim away. I'm betting this pair survived with nothing more than splitting cases of vertigo. They probably share stories of the party at the &...

Vortex Surfing Puffers -More Roll than Rock
Two Marine puffers are surprised by a vortex current and get the ride
of their lives. I'd imagine they'll be resting on a nice solid rock
shelf for a few hours after this little adventure.

Re: Fahaka in low temperature parameter
Is a using an exterior mounted PV solar panel an option for you ? If it is, do an online search for 12v rubber heating pads. Be advised, sustained heat requires a fair amount of wattage. You'll need to work out a thermostat and required solar panel size wattage for the amount of heat you'll need. Ev...

P.P.,
Agree, again. The T. miurus seem to have a fairly wide standard variation in color and texture.
I would guess that they probably have some minor adaptive pigmentation skills.
That being said.....
Is there any reliable way to visually sex them ?

P.P., I have to agree.
You're the lurker expert, but this certainly looks like a non-standard day to me.

Good Fences Make Good Neighbors - Sometimes...
Poet Robert Frost once said: "Good Fences Make Good Neighbors." In the case of these two Congos, a "good" fence may be keeping one of them alive. Interesting footage. Unless this is a pre-courtship ritual, I sincerely hope this pair was moved into separate tanks. Video - 1:11 lhx...

I'm no DP expert, but he looks alert and healthy to me.
Glad to hear that he's eating right after the transfer.
He'll be living the high life for sure in your carefully detailed tank.
Please let us know if you name him, and thanks for the updates.

Re: Fahaka puffer.
PP, I just edit reloaded the video using the youtube ID box and it's running fine for me. I'm running Firefox and using their adobe plug-in to smooth things out on my old computer. If you want the full URL for this Fahaka video from YouTube it's: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded...

Re: Fahaka puffer.
Slightly on the fahaka biting topic.
Bigblue, this wall is obviously here for a reason.
Turn your speaker volume way up. These two fellows are striking their
separator with enough speed and motivation for you to actually hear their
teeth impact.
Video - 28 secs.
