the starfish has been in the tank for probably 9 months or so. never was missing any fish mysteriously at any time. as long as you have some pretty active fish i dont think the starfish eating or getting one will be an issue.

i have had a chocolate chip starfish in my 75 with my GSP and a bunch of other filler damsels and stuff. the only thing my puffer did was go up to it on the glass, look at the chips, lightly biting it(didnt take a chunk out it seemed to want to taste what it was before he took a bite) and didnt both...

i have always wondered the same thing, those things would probably creep out my GSP lol. they are cool looking though
