I dont want to risk my DPs lives..
So I have a 20 gallon setup as below. I have 2 female 1 male dwarf puffers, and 3 otos. I am trying to grow plants to help alleviate some chasing (have had them about 3 weeks, accidentally killed one a rehomed another - had 5 at 1 point). Well the plants arent going well. Ive considered switching my...

Re: Help!!!
Yeah.. Ive had the puffers for a week now.. still trying to figure out how to feed properly. 2 of the puffers (the 2 I posted about) eat the bloodworms so fast and will take them away from the others so they get very round bellies.

Re: 55 gallon - Possible Congo Puffer tank. Have questions.
If it were me with a 55 gallon tank wanting puffers. Id get between 3 and 5 south american puffers. Not sure what would be an accurate number in that tank size (hopefully PP will help here again). But make sure to feed them lots of snails or crunchy foods to keep their teeth trim or youll be trimmin...

Re: Reducing flow from AC 50
Maybe Im just unlucky. But I have it on the low flow and its pushing current down to the bottom of the tank. I cant put plants anywhere in front of the filter as it just pushes them out.

I wanted to over filter as I was told pea puffers (or puffers in general) need over filtration. Now that I have the 20 gallon tank up and running and Im still cycling i...

Re: Tap water, distilled or RO?
Where would I buy almond leaves, and how do I know when they need changed? Just put them in the filter? I did decide Im going to try to cut 50/50 tap and RO once the tank is cycled and then see how my numbers are. I already bought the seachem products which stinks.. but would be a lot cheaper to cut...
