Re: Random worm like thing in my tank?
You all obviously miss the point and some of you sound as though you could use some parenting. What are you people like ten? Twelve?

Re: Random worm like thing in my tank?
Lol, you make it sound as though I want this person drawn and quartered. And I totally disagree. YOUR pet, YOUR responsibility. It shouldnt fall to someone else. Its one thing to ask someone to look out for a pet while you're on vacation or just away a couple days but its a whole different story to ...

Re: Random worm like thing in my tank?
Regardless what pets you own there comes a time when creepy crawlies have to be dealt with. Be it a worm, tick, flea or any number of other parasites or pests. Its part of being a pet owner. What if this issue had arisen while there were still a puff or any other fish in the tank? Reality is that th...

Mek0ng: Yeah i know...I'm gonna be getting a koralia nano soon... Also as I said I'm replacing this HOB with an AC70 so there should be tons of flow when I'm done adding equipment. Check Amazon before you order anywhere else. You can get the recently discontinued line of Koralias dirt cheap on ther...

Re: Tank backgrounds
Its likely the paint is bonded to the glass depending what type they used. Even if you remove it, its unlikely the glass would be in any condition to be used for viewing. Then again, if they used cheap paint it may come right off.

Re: Tank backgrounds
You can order SeaView at places like Foster & Smith Aquatics too. We used it to put a background on my cousins tank. It never actually dries and does make a big difference in the way it looks. I use paper/plastic backgrounds as well. I dont care for the permanency of paint.

Re: sick arrowhead
An ammonia spike does NOT make it a cycle issue. It makes it an ammonia issue that is obviously coming from somewhere or something. Excess food, dirty tank/filter. Do you vacuum each time you do a water change? Do you remove all uneaten food when its finished eating? Piscavores are easily one of the...

By all rights you are way overstocked on dwarfs alone. There should only be 10 in a 50 gallon tank.

Re: Marine puffer eating freshwater snails
Porcs, dogface, s&s and the like. Just seems the larger marine puffs in general you dont much hear of tooth overgrowth. I'm just generalizing and may be wrong. Again, I havent seen much in all my research and reading as far as it being an issue for the bigger marines puffers.
