Re: pals schoutedeni in Quincy MA $299
It does look stressed. I've told them on multiple occasions about prazi and puffers dietary systems. They have gotten better about it. Not sure when this guy came in or how long his journey was. So they may have been letting him get settled before shocking him with meds.

Good that the little guys weren't hurt. And appropriate that the crawdads are in with the snails I always considered these guys food. Either for me or the puffs : P

P.s. I think there are some swears in it so don't play it on your speakers at the office or in front of the children.

Check out "the chemical brothers - the salmon dance" music video on YouTube or vimeo. Not quite my cup of tea as far a music but really neat cgi.

I am in love with my vortech. It's massivley over rated for my tank but I do still have a koralia in the there. My gsp loves playing around the koralia and I don't want to take that away from him.

I cant say as far as interaction between the plants but I would recommend going high tech since you already have the led light. Pressurized co2 injection and ferts.

There may be a few members here that could chime in, but this question would be better aimed to a planted tank forum.

Re: Filteration advice
Surface agitation does increase gas exchange but if you are dosing co2 just increase the amount of co2 you are dosing. As long as your monitoring with a good drop checker or ph probe you shouldn't have an issue. Additionally the cost is all relative. I have 500+ already into a 6.5 gallon and not don...

I was just going to use the third channel on a dosing pump. Unsure of a brand yet bubble magnus seems to be the most widely used/highest rated but also quite pricey. If i was doing this on a larger tank i would go with the storm system from genesis reef.

Re: Welch's 30g Long Planted.
I am actually moving to the canister and inline diffuser. I found a highly rated a small finex for around 40 on amazon. The online another 20. And im making an inline heater out of a uniseal some pvc and a spare heater I have kicking around. So whole setup switch for around 70. Not to shabby when I ...
