Re: Poisoned Tank
Am delighted that the tank has recovered. With two puffer fish in there I doubt the shrimp will be an issue for too long. Although I have some white shrimp in a high end brackish that went in as food and now live in the rocks and act as clean up at night.

Re: Fahaka Puffer heavy breathing and slime?
Glad all is looking better. Regardless I am now a convert to precautionary treatment for Internal Parasites. Chances are they are there in some number. There's a good article on here in the puffer library.

Any changes in the area of the tanks? Moving furniture, new noise, new people, or pets? Two fish hiding I'm separate tanks would tell me either they are spooked or waters no right. Just in case you haven't done so check the pare meters your sours water may have changed.

Protecting Fingers
As the base rock is cycled I am adding it to the tank. It's now time to glue some pieces into place. However the 2 gsp attack everything going into the tank. Metal tongs, orniments, the rocks. When my fingers enter the water they are over like lightning and I get my hand out fast. Does anyone else h...

I would suggest thinking about what biotope you wish to create? The german blue ram makes me think its south american soft water set up? The celestial pearl danios may do better in a cooler tank though, temperature wise not décor. (http://www.tfhmagazine.com/details/articles/the-celestial-pearl-dani...

experience of full marine tank mates for GSP
Hi, My two LFS rescue GSP puffers are now very healthy and active in a salinity of 1.007 and rising. I am starting to get excited about the move to full marine with them. I am considering a range of new possibilities and maybe a new tank rather than the 280ltr they were destined for. My question her...

IP treatment won't hurt. You will need him to eat something soaked in meds.

Re: DP has stopped eating
If so sadly I don't think so. I lost a dragon go by that way once. I would check everything else. My fahaka stopped eating with internal parasites he would attack food then withdraw like his mouth/throat hurt.

Could it be an obstruction in the digestive track? A small stone or piece of wood?
