nemotodes are a type of internal parasite
i don't actually know what the "black fin disease" really is. some of the wild puffers have black somewhat shriveled fins or black splotches on their body. it's obviously not a good sign and i've never bothered to look up what its called.

yes i agree. touching can harm their slime coat but when necessary or occasionally if curious to see if the fish isn't shy, i touch my fish

hawaiian spotted toby puffers don't pair perfectly. the male's territory encompases about 4 or 5 female's territories, each of which is a couple square yards.
