Re: why are my mollies acting like morons?
They're probably trying to hide from the puffer.

Re: f8 puffer with bulging eyes
Another F8 is a better tankmate than the spotted.
I didn't feel comfortable using Melafix with my betta, there are some warnings in place for labrynth fish, I used Maracyn and Maracyn 2.
Also, if you could answer the questions above the post in red, that will be helpful. How was the tank cycled?

Re: my puffer problems
Taking 4 GSP from a 45 gallon, and adding them to a 29 gallon already stocked with 1, isn't exactly a rescue. If you truly want what is best for them, either rehome them, or house them more appropriately.

Re: f8 puffer with bulging eyes
I moved this so you can answer the questions above in red. Sounds like Popeye, google that disease and see if that sounds like what he has. I believe that is treated with an antibiotic, but adding epsom salt may help with the pressure, or may do nothing. My betta had Popeye, I treated it with an ant...

Re: my puffer problems
They do look stressed in the photos from what I can tell by the coloration, and from your description as well. Change will cause stress, but as bertie 83 says, they each need 30 gallons min, so they probably aren't very comfortable all scooched in one tank. There may be other reasons of course, but ...

Re: WTB Mbu Puffer
Welcome, and it's nice to see someone making responsible decisions regarding the Mbu. I'm sorry your other one jumped. We don't currently have any members wishing to rehome an Mbu in the US, have you checked local ads or rescue groups?
