Re: Ceylons and GSPs

^ everyone here wants your puffers to do well just as bad as you do. this isnt just about conditions people think are best or they think the puffer would do best in. they know what your puffer needs to do best, and they also know that most likely you were given wrong information from pet stores or o...

Re: Gsp tankmates

at 30 gallons your at your limit with just the GSP. they require atleast 30 gallons each with how much waste they produce, being a small nerf football sized fish, and they are messy fish. tankmates are a bit iffy with them as their attitude will depend on each puffer. some may allow tankmates, some ...

Re: Finally

i dont think there is scientific data to back it up, just personal experiences and many many of them. enough to keep krill out of my puffs diet. i think small "snacks" occasionally are ok, but not often or as a staple at all

Re: alternatives to snails for grinding down teeth

i think biting the rock is more of a natural behavior than anything. maybe could be taught, but like that person did you might have to lure him to the rock. my GSP bit the rock as well, but i never tried to make him he did it on his own

if my GSP even saw my hands coming in his direction he darted away, i dont know why he was so skittish at that point, he always rubbed against my finger if i put it in the water. water changes though its like he was deathly afraid of my hand. flashbacks of being captured? lol
