Re: What fish can go with my porcupine puffer

I agree with marksrush. If you really want more fish that can be housed with your porc long term in that size tank, stick with small feisty fish. Damsels, dottybacks, possibly a small hawkfish

Re: My Marine Puffers

I'm sorry pf, but i disagree. My niger was a beast and ripped to shreds at least 2 fish. All fish are individuals, like people. you may have a nice passive one, or a devil.

Re: Quarantining Your Fish

How do you tell whether or not live rock is disease free and ready for adding to your display tank? Technically, you can't "tell" but you need to do it. Fresh live rock direct from the ocean will have all sorts of critters that just won't survive in your tank. Even if you buy cured live r...

Re: What do I do in the Case of a Power Outtage?

wow, nine days is a long time! all i can say about that is you better have a lot of gas! but seriously, if you seem to have these really long terms outages, you might want to look into also getting a like a bin for water storage. I wouldn't recommend running a tank on bare minimum filtration to keep...

Re: Starry Puffer (aka Stellate) with bubble belly ...

Perhaps you can have a two wall aquarium, one that literally covers two walls and even has a corner for the fish to turn in?

Re: What do I do in the Case of a Power Outtage?

If you store gas for long periods of time, it gets, well, idk what its called, but i think it settles and separates or something and there is a thing you can buy to keep it from doing that. RO w...
