Boosting his immune systems is one of the best ways to keep him healthy. Garlic added to his diets help, as mentioned and some good multi-vitamins added to his food. Its one of the cheapest and easiest ways to help keep the ick away.

RUN! these people here are so mean and cruel! HAHAHA j/k, the people here are VERY helpful with puffers and just about anything to do with aquarium keeping. You will find a TON of great info on here and if you don't find something just ask and they give you the help and advice you need! What? Us me...

Yeah, agree with the others. Btw, Wal-mart sells a 10 gal. tank and hood/light kits pretty cheap for him temp tank. You can also get a cheap filter there also for the time being. Btw, dont forget a water conditioner for the tap water during the water changes.

They are cool. I use to see them all the time when we had more fishshops in the tri state around here. But sadly some went out of business and the ones that remain, stop carrying live SW fishes and coral. I named my African grey parrot Nickey, because there's no surefire way to know if they're males or females except through surgical means, and if you're not going to breed them it really isn't worth the expense and risk. The vet believes the bird is a male, but if he turns out to be a Nikki instead ...

Yeah, he is in sand. The gravel was already in the tank and it was a one in a lifetime get him or lose him. So I got a heck of a deal on a healthy congo and I took it. I mentioned above the the gravel to sand change out soon after I add him to the tank. He is suckin down average size earthworms now....

Ty guys and gals :D . It's not the best of pics but I had these for awhile and just decided to post them anyways. Noticed how he just sat there. Well really hard to get a good pic of him now because he hardly ever buries, hides, or sets still. 90% of the time, he is active and never sets still long ...

Here is anouther shot. My wife took it with her ipod. And I switched the gravel out to red sand, about afew days after I got him. Sorry that the pics are blurry and not clear. Im goin g to try to get better and updated pics of him ASAP.
