Re: Oh NO!! I thought he was dead but he isn't ACK

sorry mrgreen :(
do you have any other fish in the same tank?
it would be a good idea to check the water parameters before changing water, just so you'll know if there are any "chemistry Issues" present.

Re: Does anyone else poop scoop?

i use a simple "dip tube" it's just a rigid piece of clear plastic tubing that you hold your finger over the upper end of, hover the lower end over the debris, and release your finger from the upper end. the debris gets sucked up into the tube! there are more expensive versions that you can buy, but...

Re: Oh NO!! I thought he was dead but he isn't ACK

I just looked at my tank this morning and 9 ball was stuck to the filter intake. I gently removed him to find a two huge blister from the suction. I thought for sure he was dead but he was alive! He can't swim really, but he's breathing and his fins are going. :( What do I do with him? I doubt he c...

"ollie" (T.Miurus) has a small scratch on his cheek just to the rear of his mouth :( it may be from a cricket that he ate yesterday evening it doesn't look very serious, but I'd like to prevent further issues i'd prefer to not add anything to the water does anyone have any thoughts on swabbing the a...

Re: Crunchy Foods Question

Hi Schismy007! If he can bring back enough would you like me to freeze them and send you some registered next day guaranteed post once the postal strike crap is sorted out or I get back from holiday - whichever is sooner? I think if I freeze them and then put them in one of those small cooler bags ...

Re: Getting a congo puffer 3", give me advice on getting ready

Looks like I may be able to get a hold of a couple fry-juvenile RED congo puffers German bred if I got my information right. If I am right and get to order them I'll keep you all updated... If I can't get ahold of a green congo puffer I'll definitely settle for a red one! Captive bred? I wasn't awa...

parasite issue prevention

having acquired five dwarf puffers this week, i was wondering if it might be a good idea to treat their tank with Jungle Parasite Clear, in order to stay ahead of potential parasite issues. one of them is somewhat smaller & thinner than the other four, but has no specific symptoms of IP's. as a prev...
