These guys are heading my way once it gets a little warmer. They are going to be housed in a 100 gal tank.

Fish feel vibration with their lateral line and a lot of noise is transferred to the tank. They basically hear by feel. There are a few video's out where people have put mic's underwater in their tanks and the amount of noise generated by filters and powerheads is pretty impressive.

My guess is that the pump from the new skimmer is throwing off heat, mag drives are known for it. The small bubble looking pat on his foot was probably a tear from when he was removed from the rock in the sellers tank. I have a anemone and clown fish only tank with multiple nems and one thing I've learned setting it up is to request that they sell whatever it is attached to with it.

It'd take balls to go after a fish like that.....

The issue with buying online is finding a reputable dealer. I have three sources for my livestock and do not waver from them, one I actually drive 90 min to go pick stuff up from. There are good places out there but you just have to find them.
